Darling vintage 1940's/1950's ceramic Grandpa "Chopper Hopper" denture holder or trinket dish. Made in Japan, grandpa is adorable in all of his pastel color raised 3D details and looks to have been hand painted. The head comes off to reveal the dish underneath. Perfect to use as suggested, a fun display piece or a kitsch addition to any ceramics collection! Unearthed from an estate sale and could use a good cleaning before use. * We have 2 of these dishes (see last pic) available, see last pic and always happy to combine orders if you can't live without both of them!

Chopper Hopper is in good vintage condition! The usual light pre-loved surface, a few tiny fleabites on base rim from years of hiding in Betty's linen closet, but nothing that distracts from this treasure of whimsy, yet useful history!
