The GE Faceplate is a genuine OEM control board overlay for ranges. It covers the front of the control board on the wall oven. It is used on retrofitted models that have an existing overlay that is approximately 9.4" across. Consult your model’s parts list to ensure this is the correct overlay for your unit.

The overlay can fail due to wear and tear over time, or if it has been exposed to extreme temperatures or moisture.

Symptoms of failure include:

• Broken faceplate
• Cracks or discoloration of the plastic
• The range does not respond to any commands from the control panel

If you suspect your faceplate has failed, it's important to replace it as soon as possible in order to ensure your range continues working properly and safely.
