What a historical treasury in so many ways.  Trench art was created primarily by soldiers in World War I, and were crafted by discarded bullet and shell casings.  This one features a depiction of the Cathedral de Reims.
This is huge gothic cathedral about 2 hours east of Paris, destroyed and rebuilt after WWI. It is where the oldest Kings of France first received the sacrament. It is here that Joan of Arc first recognized the dauphin of France in the 1400s. It is a UNESCO world heritage site.
