Here we have a very rare 1940's Vintage Mexican Snake Hunting Bowie Knife that features a Snake Guard that is eating itself.  This  Mexican hunting Bowie knife with its snake guard is a very rare knife to find, especially in such exceptional condition.  Usually, if you can find these at all, the bullhorn used in the handle are either cracked or missing.  This one hasn't any cracks on either side however one side has a couple of tiny chips.  Also, the snake guard eating the handle is in good condition as well..  These knives were sold during the 40s and 50s at tourist attractions in Mexico.  This one comes complete with its original sheath which has a minor split in it's sewn seam near the bottom.
