BLACK MOON FRIDAY 13TH
EXTREME RITUAL
The Black Moon is traditionally associated with the hidden phase of lunar power—the moment when the Moon is dark or absent from the sky, representing the void, the unseen, and the deep subconscious layers of energy and transformation. In many mystical traditions, this phase is believed to amplify work connected to release, banishment, shadow integration, endings, and powerful new beginnings. Because the visible lunar light is gone, the symbolism centers on what happens in darkness before renewal—the quiet space where old cycles dissolve and new intentions take root. Practitioners often view the Black Moon as a time when subtle energies are easier to access, making it ideal for inner work, clearing obstacles, reclaiming personal power, and planting intentions that will grow once the lunar cycle begins again.
Friday the 13th carries its own symbolic reputation in folklore and occult traditions. Friday has long been connected to Venus, the planetary archetype associated with love, beauty, attraction, and emotional power. The number 13 is historically tied to the lunar cycle, because there are approximately thirteen lunar cycles in a year, and it has been linked in various traditions to feminine lunar mysteries, transformation, and spiritual initiation. When Friday and the number 13 coincide, some traditions interpret it as a day where Venusian energies (love, attraction, personal magnetism) merge with the transformative symbolism of the lunar number 13. Rather than being unlucky, many modern practitioners view it as a day of empowerment, independence, and reclaiming personal sovereignty.

“Cast All Enemies Into the Shadows” – Black Moon Friday the 13th
Purpose: Neutralize adversaries, hostile influences, or obstructive energies without harm, binding them to the lunar shadow.
On the Black Moon’s apex, Albina and the Coven with guests form a circle with black salt and obsidian shards, placing black candles at the four cardinal points to represent both protection and containment. A central black mirror acts as a reflective anchor, capturing and absorbing harmful energies or hostile intent. With focused breath and repetition of the Invocation of the Shadowed Banishment, the practitioner visualizes adversaries’ influence as dark threads or clouds, each drawn into the mirror and absorbed by the lunar shadow. The Black Moon amplifies this energy, ensuring that manipulation, interference, or aggression is neutralized and redirected into dissolution, leaving the practitioner’s field clear, unbreachable, and sovereign.
In the second stage, they weave a protective lattice of shadowed light around themselves, visualizing each adversary’s influence shrinking and fading, as if cast into deep lunar darkness where it can no longer affect their life. The mirror absorbs residual traces, while obsidian and black salt fortify the perimeter of the aura. The ritual closes with a grounding breath and a final chant, anchoring the banishment permanently into the subtle field. By the end, the practitioner senses a profound separation from hostile forces, a shield of Black Moon energy surrounding them, and the quiet assurance that adversaries remain powerless within the hidden lunar shadow.
