WHAT DOES THE SPRING EQUINOX MEAN SPIRITUALLY?
At the Spring Equinox, we are surrounded by new life. The earth is covered in a blanket of greenery and the rising of life force that began at Imbolc has now manifested as daffodils, primroses and perhaps even cherry blossoms. Spring is now truly here.

With this bubbling up of energy and blossoming of new life, we experience a renewal within ourselves too. We feel lighter than we did throughout the darker winter months and have a sense of excitement about what is to come. We can see fresh possibilities and sense the creative potential in new ideas.

Breakthrough of Barriers — The Equinox Gate Opening

At twilight, Albina and the Coven construct an energetic gate, symbolizing the threshold between limitation and freedom. This gate represents all blocks, delays, and setbacks that have stood in the way. Rather than forcing them aside, Albina calls forth the exact moment where these barriers dissolve.

The Coven channels a powerful forward-moving current through the gate, causing it to open fully. As it does, resistance collapses—not through struggle, but through release. Patterns that once caused delay lose their structure and fall away naturally.

As the ceremony concludes, the path beyond the gate becomes accessible and clear. What once felt blocked begins to move again, and progress resumes with renewed speed and ease. The individual steps forward without the weight of past obstacles.
