This is a softcover book for the pre-teen or "tween" age group, "Where I'd Like To Be" by Frances O'Roark Dowell, published by Aladdin Fiction. The story is about a group of foster children who build a home of their own. From the publisher: "Searching for a place to call home, twelve-year-old Maddie, while living at the East Tennessee Children's Home, learns the true meaning of friendship and family when she decides to share her innermost longings with Murphy, the glamorous new girl."
The book is in like-new condition in my opinion. I suppose some wear could be found upon close inspection since it's been on our shelf for a while, but it's never been read and looks new to me, so that's about all I can say. Looks like a great story and it's won a number of awards, so pick it up and encourage your "tween" to read! Asking $1.00 obo. Everything I have listed for sale is "or best offer", so feel free to make an offer.
ALL ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICKUP.
I sell a huge variety of stuff to supplement my income and help me put the last of my kids through college. Some items come from flea markets or estate sales, and some come from around our home, but many items come to me from my extended family of hardcore hoarders. So, the variety really can be vast and unpredictable. Please check back often, because you really never know what I will have from one day to the next!
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
