Offered today from my personal collection of late 1800`s - early 1900`s era fashion photography is a neat Cabinet card photo of a very wealthy looking older lady in beautiful dress with large choker at neck with what looks like a coin on it! The lady wears granny spectacles too which is neat, as most woman did not like having photos taken with glasses way back then. On the back of card is a neat ghost image of the same woman in a different pose with the words in pencil at top, "Papa For Philip H. Branson. I believe this photo was in a safety box and was in a fire at one time but rescued. There is fire damage on front of card at bottom of card and at the right. The photo itself is in perfect condition with no damage though & the ghost image on the back, most likely from the intense heat of a fire which imprinted the bottom photo onto the back of this one, make this a rather rare photo for the collector. The photo studio info is at bottom left and the studio was Parker Studio out of Washington, D.C. Photo is in Vignette style and very sharp. Offered today at a very reasonable price of $6.00 and shipping by regular air(not insured) is just $5.00($4.00 shipping + $1.00 padded envelope).
Payment by Paypal. I do offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases, so buy more & save!! Any questions please contact Greg at [email protected] Thanks for reading!
