An early to mid-1940s Columbia recording from Horace Heidt and His Musical Knights with vocals.

From 1937 until 1945, Horace Heidt and his orchestra enjoyed more than 50 hit records, and were virtually permanent fixtures on the radio.Offered here is a mostly clean and excellent sounding pair of Big Band fox trot arrangements. Light background hiss, minor scuffs, and faint scratches are to be expected, but this platter has no cracks or skips and still shows a decent gloss!

Side CCO 3909 presents "Mama", with vocal by the Glee Club, and side CCO 3910 lists a #1 hit from 1941, "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire", with vocal by Larry Cotton and 'Donna and her Don Juans'.

We will only ship these fragile records via priority mail!
