This is a delightful Fruit Vase is hand painted in the colors of Blue, Yellow, Green, Mauve and Purple. The images are bold and yet have a feminine feel. This is the type of vase that could probably found in a quaint home in the French countryside. Even though it is a basic vase, it has a taste of elegance about it with the colors and the scalloped lip. The fruit looks to be plums or one could say flower buds. The inside is glazed but is all white with no images. The foot is unglazed. The vase is cylindrical but then flares out at the mouth. There is some French verbiage on the bottom logo so we suspect this item was made in France. Used in good condition. No scratches, repairs, crazing, or fleabites since manufacture.
