Here for your consideration is a SUPER RARE, Vintage Fisher Price Fun with Food #2119 McDonald's Cooking Center. In 1990, Fisher Price introduced a series of McDonald's Fun- with- Food items to add to their widely popular Fun -with- Food line. The McDonald's Fun- with- Food line was only produced for one year, 1990. Thus, it is EXTREMELY hard to find one of these #2119 McDonald's Cooking Centers, let alone one that is BRAND NEW in its original box!

Preschoolers just ADORE this set! Believe me. I used these in my therapy sessions with preschool language- impaired children. This set afforded innumerable opportunities to cultivate assorted language-based concepts plus the child's joint attention, turn-taking, and dramatic play skills with other children. Those with limited language skills could be taught "language scripts" which they could practice over and over in their play. They could then transfer these scripts to real-life ordering situtations at a real McDonald's Restaurant. Children relished pretending to take one another's order, checking their delivered order for accuracy, and pretending to eat their food. The children would take turns being the customer or the McDonald's worker. For those children that might be non-verbal, we utilized the picture menus offered for free at McDonald's Restaurants nation-wide. With the Pediatric-Speech-Language Pathologist and/or the parent employing "aided language stimulation techniques" and modeling the use of the picture menus, the children became more proficient and successful in expressing their needs and wants. This was particularly valuable for children on the autistic spectrum. The use of realistic-looking items that paralleled that of their real-life counterparts, the children were more apt to transfer these skills to real situations.

This set consists of the following:

1 RARE white tabletop cooking center with a yellow base, a brown top, and yellow "M" arches for McDonald's (NEW---the center of the cooking center features a hamburger grill, a fry warmer that lights up when the red switch below is pushed to the right (batteries not included), and a deep, red fry cooker; the child can keep supplies in the upper compartment above the grill (white plastic door is shown but not put in place); when the sandwich is ready, they can pass it through to the customer by lowering the pretend "metal" chute in the back (actually, it's a plastic drop down door with a metallic looking litho on it);

1 RARE McDonald's Quarter Pounder w/Cheese container w/litho (NEW---sealed in bag);

1 RARE Light brown top sesame seed hamburger bun (NEW---sealed in bag);

1 RARE set of three plastic pickles molded together (NEW---sealed in bag);

1 VHTF hamburger patty with texturing on both sides (NEW---sealed in bag);

1 RARE light brown lower hamburger bun (NEW---sealed in bag);

1 RARE red plastic large "fry" container with a McDonald's litho on it (NEW---sealed in bag);

3 VHTF bunches of golden brown fries molded together (NEW---sealed in bag);

1 EXTREMELY RARE blue rectangular french fry cooking basket that resembles the ones McDonald's used to utilize in their restaurants (NEW---sealed in bag);

1 RARE blue spatula with a "Fisher Price" imprint on the handle and a hole on the end of the handle (NEW---sealed in bag); and

1 EXTREMELY RARE slice of cheese (NEW--sealed in bag).

The set comes replete with all of its original stickers (e.g. lithos) and instructions for assembly and operation.

Last, but not least, this set comes with its original box. Other than one crease and some minimal corner wear, this box warrants a 9.5/10 rating.  It is magnificent!

This is an AWESOME play set and one that is sure to keep your children entertained for hours!!! This is only the fourth one of these #2119 McDonald's Cooking Centers I've encountered in approximately 14 years of looking on the net. The first one I kept for myself; this is the only one I've found BRAND NEW in its box and I'm offering it up for sale.  If your child is mesmerized by McDonald's items, check out my Fisher Price Fun-with-Food #2118  Soda Fountain Fun that is also up for sale.

Except for the pickles, spatula, and slice of cheese, all of the components for this set were made in the U.S.A.  The others were made in Korea.  Thus, non of this items are subject to the FP recall of Chinese produced toys in the mid-1990's.

This offering weighs 4 lbs. 7 oz. UNWRAPPED. My location is Lafayette, IN (47905).

I'm more than willing to combine multiple purchases into one shipment, if feasible, to save the buyer on shipping costs. I charge the ACTUAL shipping rate. I do NOT pad my shipping costs. I don't charge any materials or handling fees. All I ask is that the buyer combine their purchases onto one Invoice when checking out. This will enable me to use the shipping labels supplied by PayPal and will decrease my PayPal transaction fees. Otherwise, if you pay for your items separately, I'm charged multiple PayPal and Bonanza transaction fees and you are more than likely to get overcharged on shipping by Bonanza's shipping calculator. Although I routinely refund any shipping overpayments in excess of $1.00 via PayPal, it's much easier on everyone if we get the correct shipping calculated from the "get go."

I routinely use Fed Ex Home Delivery for shipments weighing more than 5 lbs., traveling longer distances, or requiring larger, over-sized boxes. I'm finding Fed Ex Home Delivery is running @33% cheaper than the USPS (Parcel Post included) and UPS. In addition, Fed Ex Home Delivery delivers Monday-Saturday. Their quotes include free tracking and up to $100 worth of FREE insurance.

In order to ship Fed Ex Home Delivery, I must have a residential address, not a P.O. Box, and a contact phone number (home, cell, or workplace). Fed Ex will not accept any packages for shipment without this information.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.

PayPal is the preferred manner of payment. All payments are due within 5 business days of the listing's conclusion.

I also accept bank-issued Cashier's Checks and Postal Money Orders. Due to my bank's policies, I am unable to ship your item until these forms of payment clear my bank (usually within 3 business days). Please contact me if you would like to pay via a Cashier's Check or a Postal Money Order.

The price listed is for the item itself. The total amount due will be the purchase price of the item + the ACTUAL shipping cost to deliver your item to you. All shipping costs or extra fees (in the case of Canadian shipments) are the responsibility of the buyer. I will do everything in my power to find you the cheapest shipping rate—-whether it’s the USPS (First Class, Parcel, or Priority), Fed Ex, or UPS. I DO NOT PAD MY SHIPPING COSTS—-NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL! I SHIP WITHIN 48 HOURS OF A CLEARED PAYMENT.

I primarily utilize Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances. I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.

In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.

Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.

I’m more than willing to combine multiple purchases into one box whenever it is safe to do so to decrease your shipping costs. PLEASE combine your purchases on ONE INVOICE so I can calculate their combined shipping rate via Fed Ex. If you pay for these items separately, I get charged multiple transaction fees by PayPal plus you get over-charged on your shipping. Of course, I will refund you any amount over $1.00 that you've overpaid on shipping. However, it's easier on both of us if you wait until I can send you the correct amount.

I’m more than happy to ship selected play sets to Canada. Remember that shipping to Canada can be quite expensive and is being raised by the USPS effective 5/21/15 so please contact me for a shipping quote before you purchase an item. I will attempt to find the cheapest shipping rate possible. Canadian customers will be responsible for any brokerage fees, Custom’s duties, or VAT’s imposed by your government. I am not responsible for these charges. Insurance is required for all international shipments.

Last, but not least, I offer a 10% discount for orders totaling $125.00 or more.

 ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED. I have attempted to bring any noted "imperfections" to your attention prior to your purchasing the item. However, I'm only human. If I have missed something or you have a problem with your purchase, please contact me prior to leaving feedback.

Customer satisfaction is #1 for me. I try to provide outstanding service, high quality merchandise, and secure and expedient shipping.

Feedback is important and I will be happy to leave you feedback once I know everything has arrived safely and that you are pleased with your purchase. Leaving me feedback helps me gauge how well I'm doing and also serves the Bonanza community by directing them to sellers who proffer outstanding merchandise and service.
