This vintage 1960s tea cup and saucer is decorated with maple leaves and Canadian Coat of Arms. Scalloped outer rim of the saucer has gold gilt trim, which has a bit of rubbing / wear, consistent with age. Cup has some of the gilt trim worn off the handle, foot and top edge - see pics.

English bone china. Colors are crisp and bright; no chips, stains, cracks or crazing. There are a few tiny pimples and small scratches from use on the bottom of the saucer. Cup has a small manufacturing imperfection in the lower part of the crown, above the crest.

Saucer measures 5.5 inches ( 14 cm ) across. Cup is 3 inches tall.

The cup and saucer have a maple leaf and Royal Rose backstamp. Saucer has the words DECORATED IN CANADA in gold. Teacup has MADE IN ENGLAND in gold.

This tea set is one of many vintage items we are disposing of from Mum's estate.
