This is a lovely golden crescent moon face brooch or pin. It is quite large and measures approximately 2 inches tall and 1 ½ inches wide.  The moon has a gold matte finish with cut out openings of various freeform shapes and a star. I'm not sure how old this brooch is, but I'm guessing 1980s or 1990s.

The brooch is in excellent used condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There is no finish loss and it has a lovely matte or satin like shine. The pin closure works just fine. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This is definitely a piece of wearable art that reflects the timeless appeal of the moon. It will look great on a jacket lapel, a hat brim, a scarf or a dress. It will brighten up any outfit for that special occasion and it is also perfect with your favorite pair of jeans.
