This gold tone brooch or pin, is a gorgeous replica of a Viking Ship that was found in a Viking grave at Lillevang Bornholm  Denmark from the 14th Century.  It is a museum quality reproduction made by Kopi Smykker Museum in Denmark. They are famous for their authentic Viking jewelry replicas of historic artifacts. All Kopi Smykker Jewelry is made in cooperation with national and international museums.

Ships played a significant role in the Viking Age. This ship pin measures approximately 1 ¾ inches wide and 1 ¼ inches tall. This brooch can still be found for retail sale on the KOPI website in Denmark, in Bronze, Sterling Silver, 8K Gold and 14K Gold, I believe this to be the Bronze version as it is unmarked on the back except for the KOPI signature stamp. The Bronze version sells for $108.00 on the website. The metal has not been tested.

It is in excellent condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. The gold finish is bright and shiny. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This will look stunning on any outfit you choose to wear it with. It will stand out on that little black dress or be perfect with your favorite pair of jeans.
