This is a gorgeous and breath-taking vintage rhinestone bracelet signed Regency. They were well known for the quality and workmanship of their jewelry. Regency jewelry was designed by the Polowitz family in New York City for the Regina Novelty Company. They produced the jewelry between 1950 and 1970. The bracelet is signed Regency on the back on an oval medallion plate and is in fabulous condition.
This piece is of exceptional quality and quite stunning. It belonged to my Mother and is probably from the 1950s. It has a strong visual impact due to the sparkle and reflections of the stones. I'm not sure what color to call the palette of stones, could be champagne, topaz, dark amber, honey or root beer rhinestones and molded copper colored leaves. The rhinestones are all all present and rich in color, bright, sparkling and 4-pronged set. There are no damaged or dull stones. The setting is a golden or brass toned metal and features a combination of rhinestones and copper colored molded glass leaves. It has a good secure push in clasp with a safety chain and a smokey quartz baguette finial. The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/4 inches long and 1 inch wide. Some of the rhinestones are mounted with the solid side facing up (alternating stones). It weighs 1.1 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to approximately 31.18 grams.
If you like glitz and glamor, this is for you, perfect for any occasion. It would be a great addition to your collection of antique or vintage jewelry.
