This vintage Homer Laughlin oval platter has been in my family for longer than anyone can remember, certainly before I was born.  Passed down from someone, no one seems to be able to recall who at this point.  I can tell from the marks on it that it was made in 1937, but I don't know anything else about it or if the pattern has a name.  It measures 11.5" X 9", and the design is red and blue with a kind of Dutch look to it.  Around the edge of the platter are tulips and what looks like Dutch women.  There are no chips or cracks, but there is some kind of discoloration or yellowing on the center part of the platter; I assume this is from age, and I don't know if it's typical.  In any case, it's not in perfect condition, but I think it's pretty cool and someone out there might have an appreciation for it.  ;)

Asking $2.00 obo.  Everything I have listed for sale is "or best offer", so feel free to make an offer.
