Gorgeous Antique Melon Style

Silverplate Creamer & Sugar

Even with the issues noted in the condition, these are beautiful samples of silversmithing at its best.

Manufactured around 1870, this design is a great example of Art Nouveau with the melon shaped bodies, simple lines and leaves around the rims, and the petal shaped sugar lid with a finial featuring florals, altogether these are statement makers!

These are larger than your standard creamer and sugar, suitable for a large gathering.

Creamer measures 4 1/2" Diameter x 2 3/4" tall at the rim (3 1/4" at the handle) Holds an easy 1 cup

Sugar measures approx 8" wide x 5 1/2" diameter x 2 1/2" tall at the rim (4" tall with lid)

Sits nice & flat to surface, lid fits firmly in place on sugar

Holds 2 cups

Inv 13B

Such a classic style, this pattern works well with many older styles of silverplated table ware!

Great vintage condition, Age appropriate markings from past use, a soft plate loss around the high points of ribbing, dent in bottom of sugar and small pit on inside of creamer.

Beautiful luster, we only use silver creme for polishing and never use harsh chemicals.
