"Cecil B. Demented" is a 2000 comedy written and directed by cult filmmaker John Waters. The film starred Melanie Griffith, Stephen Dorff and Alicia Witt. The story focused on an insane independent film director and his renegade group of teenage filmmakers who kidnap an A-list Hollywood actress and force her to star in their underground film.
Up for sale is a rare press kit sent to critics in advance of the original release of the film. It includes:
--A black Artisan Entertainment pocket folder;
--Production Information Booklet (18 pages); and
--Four (4) 8" X 10" black and white photo sheets. Three of the photo sheets contain two photos.
--Ten slides, some with captions.
This press kit was in the private collection of a film critic and is in mint condition. It was kept in a pet- and smoke-free office.
