This is a VINTAGE BRASS “FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS” BANK (#1098). It is inscribed FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS & LOAN ASSN., OF ELGIN, which is located in Illinois. It measures approximately 4 ¾ inches wide by 4 1/8 inches long by 2 inches high. It was made by Banthrico, Inc. in Chicago, Ilinois, U.S.A. I do not have the key for it, but it is in excellent condition and is quite heavy weighing 15 ounces.
