The illustration is from a hard-to-find first edition, first printing of Hans Christian Andersen's "Thumbelina" (1980), her 5th children's book.
Condition: EXCELLENT. Rough binding edge on page. Strong colors - image remains clear & crisp. The full page book art is a finely reproduced lithograph printed on smooth, medium weight paper with printing on the back.Not a reproduction or digital copy. This print was produced in 1980 and printed in Europe.
Measures: Full page image measures 9 " inches x 8 1/4 " inches plus a little less than 1/4 " white border along the sewn binding edge. Actual images provided.

Studied at Applied Arts Academy of Vienna. First published book was in 1977 by renown publisher Michael Neugebauer of Hermann Schroedel Verlagin.
