Vintage 1950s Atomic Gold & Blue Tea Cup and Saucer Set Winterling BAvaria Hand Painted Golden Accents on Fine Bone China

DESCRIPTION
This beautifully hand painted porcelain Lusterware teacup & saucer set was created in the Mid 20th Century by Porzellanfabrik Gebrüder Winterling A.G. of Bavaria, Southern Germany.

The china teacup is hand painted with a moorish style geometric design in a bed with blue detailing The handle, with its atomic shape is trimmed in hand painted gold and folds at a sharp angle onto the base of the teacup.

Outside the teacup is in off white porcelain. The teacup & saucer are rimmed with gold detailing. The pedestal base is hand painted in gold then rimmed in gold.

The saucer design matches the tea cup and the well blended moorish style, geometric patterns sitting in its bed with a off white porcelain back.

MARK: Manufacturer mark: Wreath with logo, Winterling, BAVARIA, Germany. In silver lettering, fired into the porcelain glaze. Circa Early to mid 50s. Japan. Mark was used between 1950 and 1990.

COLORS: The set is white porcelain with a gold and blue finish.

SIZE: The mod cup is about 2 5/8 " tall; its mouth has a diameter of about 4 1/8” The saucer is about 6" inches in diameter.

CONDITION: Excellent Antique Vintage Condition (no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs); detailing is bright.
