This is a ready-to-ship collar for a larger dog. The collar is made from 2 layers of light weight indoor-outdoor upholstery fabric with a layer of interfacing between. The contoured snap buckle and slide are plastic; the D-ring is metal. The collar is double / triple stitched for security. This pet collar is designed to be comfortably worn 24 hours a day, just in case your pup decides to escape to adventure.....attach your dog's tag to the D-ring.  The collar adjusts from 19 to 28 inches. 

Dog Collar sizing: A quick search of collar sizes finds a variety of standards: Small anywhere from 8-11 to 10-14 inches; Medium 12-15 to 14-20; Large 16-19 to 16-26; XL 20-23 to 24-30 inches. While I try to place the collars in the appropriate S, M, L, XL range, due to variations, PLEASE measure your dog to get the perfect fit - neither too big or too small (you should be able to slide 2 fingers easily between your dog's neck and the collar). This adjustable collar may loosen slightly over time, so please remember to check your dog’s collars regularly to adjust the fit as well as check for wear. Collars should not be used for unsupervised tie-out. I always advise a harness when walking or tethering a dog in a car. 

The collar can be washed in cold water with a mild detergent and laid flat to dry. Please do not put it in the dryer.
