Item description for Vintage Parrot Macaw Bird Guilloche Cloisonne Oval Brooch Pin Enamel

This is a gorgeous Guilloche Cloisonné Enamel Parrot brooch or pin. The colors and detail on this brooch are wonderful, even the feathers are finely detailed, it shows exceptional craftsmanship. The brooch features a colorful Parrot in various shades of blues, rusty orange and white standing or perched on a branch against a light green or chartreuse textured enamel background. The edging or rim of the brooch features a stamped design. This oval pin measures approximately 1 5/8 inches tall and 1 inch wide. This is most likely from the 1930s or 1940s.

It is in beautiful vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. It secures with an old style “c” hook clasp. There is no loss of enamel; it is all intact with a nice shine. There is minor wear on the back of the pin commensurate with age (see photos), but is still shiny and has a lovely patina. Please look carefully at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This would be lovely to wear any time of the year. It would be perfect with your little black dress or your favorite pair of jeans. This eye-catching piece of wearable art is sure to get noticed. It will be a must have addition to your collection of vintage jewelry.
