This is a Vintage Dutch Masters 2 for 25 cents Capitols Foil Cigar Tin. (#2498) Made by Consolidated Cigar Corporation, Factory no. 371, 1^st Dist. PA., on bottom of box: “NOTICE-The manufacturers of the cigars herin contained have complied with requirements of the law. Every person cautioned not to use either this box for cigars again or the stamp thereon again, nor to remove the contents of this box without destroying said stamp, under the penalties provided by law in such cases”. On the left side of box: “The cigars herin contained were manufactured to retail at more than eight cents each and not more than fifteen cents and are so tax-paid”. “C” MILD. The box measures 5 ¼ inches across, 3 ¾ inches wide and 1 3/8 inches tall. It is pretty beat up and also has a sticker from Rexall Drug Store on the bottom.
