Thissale features a beautiful handmade Swedish band loom.

This was handmade by my husband, who designs plans for a website called UBuilderPlans. He designed this loom, and the plans have been very popular. We've sold them to all over the world.

This one is made from the plans that we sell.

It measures 36 inches long and 36 inches tall.

It is beautifully made - very aesthetically pleasing, and a pleasure to use. The posts are hard rock maple while the rest of the loom  is various hard woods. 

The cat is shown for scale - not included. Ha!

The bottom two photos are of the original prototype loom - the one in this listing is an improved model. It's also a little bit fancier. Also, I thought you'd want to see a photo where the loom with the warp on it.

The loom is shipped in pieces but is very easy to assemble with the included instructions.  Some tools, not included, will be required. 

This is an improved model with the addition of two warping pins.  These make it easy to use the loom itself as a warping frame. 

The loom is fast and easy to use.

There are no weaving instructions included only assembly instructions.

This would make a thoughtful and practical gift.

SHIPPING: This item is shipped disassembled in an oversized box. It has been very carefully packed...I think you will be pleased. The weight is 20 pounds, give or take a pound, and I have listed a few different shipping options from which to choose. Your item will be sent FIRST CLASS MAIL INTERNATIONAL, arriving in approximately seven (7) to ten (10) days. In most cases, your item will come to you neatly wrapped in tissue, and inserted in a padded envelope, in order to keep weight to a minimum. (Bulky items will of course require a box, and therefore higher postage.) At my option, I sometimes provide shipping insurance, throught Auctiva. If you have any special shipping requests, please let me know and I will do everything I can to accommodate you.
 

I usually consider all sales to be final, unless I have accidently described an item incorrectly. I am only human after all, but I do take care to give an accurate and complete description.
