This is a sweet and adorable vintage Sterling Silver Heart brooch or pin with an arrow piercing the heart. It is marked Germany and Sterling on the back. It exceptional workmanship and is encrusted with gorgeous tiny seed pearls (they appear to be genuine). It is a lovely romantic brooch. This is most likely from the 1930s or 1940s, although it may be older than that.

The brooch is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged pictures. The silver has a lovely old patina to it (I will not polish it; I leave that up to you as it is a matter of personal preference). All the pearls are intact and the safety clasp on the back works just fine. There are a few little imperfections in the silver, but I believe these to be original to the piece. The arrow is 1 3/4 inches long and the heart is 1 inch by 1 inch. It weighs .3 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to 8.50 grams.

What a wonderful way to tell someone you love them. This lovely elegant sterling silver brooch with the classic style would make a perfect Valentine’s Day present. This dainty and feminine brooch would also be great for a bride on her wedding day, "Something Old” to wear on a Bridal Gown.
