Growing Osteospermum from flower seeds:

Osteospermum seeds can be started indoors or directly outdoors in a prepared seedbed. Sow the flower seeds directly on the surface and very lightly cover. Light is needed for germination. Keep the flower seed moist until germination. When Osteospermum seeds are started indoors, harden off the African Daisy seedlings for 2 weeks before planting outdoors. To promote a bushier plant, pinch back at the time of transplanting.
