Tops with cowl collar have kimono sleeves and optional top stitching. V. 1 has long sleeves and V. 2 has short sleeves. This "Jiffy" pattern is sized for stretch knits only. 

Draped cowl collars were popular in the 1970s, a detail referring back to the 1930s, a decade that was a major 70s style influence. Simplicity Pattern 8239 is dated 1977 and is used but complete. Sold as is.
