This wonderful book from the Bedtime Story-Books series is THE ADVENTURES OF PADDY THE BEAVER, by Thornton W. Burgess, illustrated by Harrison Cady, Cady not give credit, published by McCelland & Stewart Limited with copyright 1943.  Canadian Edition.  This blue hard  cover book is in Excellent ++ condition,  no dog ears,  only a child's printed inscription on the 2nd inside page.     The dust jacket is in FAIR condition, with a piece missing at the top and bottom of the front cover and 2 small pieces on the back cover.
