One of my fondest memories as a young child was visiting my Grandparents' house in the country. Growing up on a farm and later running it, my Grandpa always loaded up with eggs and bacon in the morning. When I say "loaded up," I mean just that----up to a half dozen eggs, three or four strips of bacon, and a couple of slices of toast. I was fascinated how he managed to eat everything; yet, he always did. Yes, he was overweight but he lived a full and blessed life (up to age 88). Whenever I see one of these Fisher Price play sets, I think of Grandpa tucking into his hearty breakfast.
Here for your inspection is a SUPER COOL, Vintage Fisher Price Fun-with-Food #2115 Super Skillet Breakfast play set that is 100% COMPLETE and in EXC++-NEAR MINT condition! This is one of the most sought after Fisher Price Fun-with-Food play sets ever produced! Manufactured in 1987, this play set consists of 28 pieces and is one of the hardest sets to find complete. It took me 6 months to assemble this set from multiple auctions from across the United States.
Contents include:
1 VHTF small, square white skillet with a blue handle and pretend "control panel" (NEAR MINT---the control panel exhibits a wind-up, "heat-control" knob; when the child moves the blue sliding button on the side of the control panel, the skill emits a "sizzling" sound; sizzling sound still works GREAT; one small black mark side of skillet; this may or may not come off during the cleaning process; lithos on handle do not exhibit any fading);
1 VHTF clear plastic lid for the skillet (NEAR MINT--few light scratches);
1 VHTF square, blue plastic egg container that snaps shut and has a raised imprint of a chicken sitting on a nest, "Fisher Price" written above the chicken and "Grade A Eggs" below the chicken (EXC--numerous light surface scratches);
4 RARE white plastic eggs that "crack open" (MINTY MINT);
2 RARE sunny-side up eggs that fit inside the egg shells (EXC---some tiny pin-head size red spots on yolk of eggs; not sure whether this will come off during cleaning process; if it does come off, then these eggs would warrant a MINT rating);
2 RARE servings of scrambled eggs that fit inside the egg shells (MINTY MINT);
2 RARE strips of bacon (MINT);
1 RARE syrup dispenser w/pretend syrup that appears to disappear when the dispenser is tilted and reappears when the container is placed upright (NEAR MINT---few light scuffs and two scratches on sides of piece; I've never seen one of these syrup containers with this much "syrup" still inside; this is truly an mesmerizing piece);
2 VHTF brown waffles (MINTY MINT);
1 VHTF white, rectangular hinged Waffle box with litho (VG+-VG++--moderate rubs on corner edges and front of litho; NOTE: this Waffle box does not appear to have come with another litho on the back side of the box; hinges are perfect);
2 RARE slices of white bread (1 MINT; other has some indentations on one side of the bread; I can't tell whether these were caused by a child's tooth or not; once again, I'm being "super nit-picky" because I don't want any of my customers to be disappointed by their purchase from me);
1 RARE yellow spatula with felt pad on underneath (EXC--pad is quite dirty; I will be addressing this during the cleaning process; once it's clean, it will warrant a NEAR MINT rating; NOTE: a child can wet this spatula's pad and apply it to some of the other Fisher Price Fun with Food sets (like certain hamburger and meat play sets) to make the meat look as if it as been cooked);
2 HTF blue and white flowered plastic plates (1 MINT; other VG+-- small blue mark on interior of plate; not sure if this will come off when cleaned; also displays a scratch across both blue circles on the rim of the plate);
2 HTF white forks with an imprint of a heart and 4 leaves below it on the end of the handle (MINT).
This is a STUNNING play set and one that will keep children entertained for hours. I will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaning all of the food and accessory items in this set before sending it to its new owner. Everything will be SQUEAKY CLEAN!
FYI, the forks, spatula, bacon, and eggs were made in Korea. The syrup pitcher was crafted in Hong Kong. The remaining contents were manufactured in the U.S.A.
The set weighs @2 lbs. UNWRAPPED. My location is Lafayette, IN (47905).
I'm more than willing to combine purchases into one shipment. All I ask is that the buyer place all of their purchases in their shopping cart before checking out. Please do not pay for each item separately as that causes me to have to pay multiple PayPal transaction fees. It also interferes with my ability to print out a combined shipping label on PayPal.
