Vintage English Bone China from the 1940s, Made in England

This listing is for a matching Royal Crown Derby flat tea cup and saucer set, made in England. The pattern is called Blue Mikado. The design is a lovely blue Asian scene, with trees, pagodas, warlords, and geisha. There is gold trim on the slightly ruffled edges of both cup and saucer, as well as on the shaped cup handle and a gold band on the base of the cup. Both pieces are marked on the bottom "ROYAL CROWN DERBY MADE IN ENGLAND". Both pieces are marked XII for a 1949 manufacturing date.

Both cup and saucer are in good condition with no nicks, chips cracks, crazing, wear to gold trim, or scratches. * There is a TEA STAIN ring in the teacup - see picture 3.* The saucer measures approx. 5- 3/4 inches / 14.5 cm in diameter and the cup 3 - 1/8 in. / 78 mm. across the top.

Check out my other teacup and saucer sets.  I will be listing more of this pattern, including some side plates; these were a wedding gift to our mother in 1951.  I just don't have room for them all.
