This is a set vintage coin money earrings with a round Chinese coin as the main focus of the earrings. Each side of the coin is different. I have no idea if these are real actual coins or manufactured replicas or reproductions, but my guess is reproductions. The metal is an antiqued gold color that looks like brass and a magnet is not attracted to them. These were purchased in the late 1970s to early 1980s.
Including the hooks the earrings measure 2 ½ inches long. The diameter of each coin is 1 inch. Hanging from each of the coins are two dangling charms with Chinese symbols on both sides. (see pictures of fronts and backs of earrings for details).
These are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. They have a nice patina to the metal.
These would be a great pair of earrings for anyone who loves the exotic look of Chinese accessories. They are simple, yet make a bold statement at the same time.
