The Bogen RM350D is a unique, self-contained paging system for small- to medium-sized applications. It combines a digital tuner, microphone, and aux inputs with a 35-watt output capable of driving 4- and 8-ohm speaker systems as well as 25 or 70 volt distributed systems.  The tuner section uses a PLL synthesizer to provide accurate frequency selection. An LCD display shows the frequency readout. The tuner may be programmed with up to 18 FM and 12 AM preset stations.  Pushbuttons are provided to tune stations, select presets, and scan preset stations.
Microphone input accepts a balanced Lo-Z microphone.  The input uses a three-pin standard mic connector and has its own volume control. The input includes a switch-selected ALC circuit to maintain a uniform output level. The input also includes VOXactivated music muting of the program from tuner or aux source. Provisions are included to mute the program using dry contacts from a customer-supplied switch (selectable for normally open or closed; factory set for normally open). A pushbutton on the front panel is used to select program from the tuner or aux input. The aux input consists of an RCA jack and can accept signal from a cassette tape, CD, or other line level source. Bass, treble and volume controls are provided to adjust the level of selected program (does not affect the microphone input).  The receiver permits connection of up to four switchselected paging zones. A pushbutton is included to select all zones at once. A pre-page output lets you route tuner or auxiliary program to a telephone music-on-hold input. The output is not affected by volume, bass, or treble settings.  The receiver can accept input from a telephone line when an accessory transformer (the Bogen Model WMT1A) is used as the interface.  Output taps are provided for direct connection of 4-and 8-ohm speakers and for connection of 25 or 70 volt distributed systems. Individual zone taps are provided for ease of connection. An impedance jumper is provided to set the output signal on the zone taps.  The receiver operates from nominal 120V/60Hz AC.
It may be rack-mounted using optional accessory brackets (Model RPK47), or placed upon a shelf. An FM dipole antenna, AM loop antenna, mono patch cord, and stereo-to-mono patch cord are included with the unit.
