System: Gameboy Color
Genre: RPG
# of Players: 1
Game Date of Release: 11/30/1998
The Green Gameboy Color system is in OK shape. There are some scratches and dings on it from use, but nothing serious cosmetically. On the corners there is some damage however it's not terrible.
All of the buttons and the D-pad are in good shape and springy.
The speaker seems to be in good shape, along with the headphone jack (both tested).
There is no battery cover.
The screen has some scratches on it as you can see in the picture with the bad flash on it. None of them are crazy bad, but you may notice two light ones while playing.
Finally, I did try this with another Game Boy color game and it didn't want to work with this Game Boy, although it did work on another system. This Game Boy does play the Pokemon Blue that comes along with it and a couple of our other tester games. So, if you're planning on playing this with the GBC game The Smurf's Nightmare, you may not want to purchase this particular system.
The Pokemon Blue game is in alright shape. The cover is torn and has scratches on it. The cartridge itself has some damage to it along the top corner, but doesn't affect the gameplay at all. On the back, there is a name written in black permanent marker.
Pokemon Yellow (Pikachu Edition) is also included with this package. The game's label is damaged, as you can see in the picture. However, the battery is still good and it holds saves.
Batteries not included.
