They are prolific bloomers and very hardy, often producing a dozen or more flowers per plant they will multiply to provide increased beauty every year. The petals of this 'Turks-cap' lily are bright orange, spotted with purple and arch gracefully back adding interesting shapes as well as vibrant color to your border. 



Plant Instructions:
Plant Splendens Tiger Lily bulbs immediately upon arrival or ASAP but be very careful not break off any stalks or growth. Splendens Tiger Lily work best in an organic well-drained soil that is slightly acidic.
Mulch is recommended for Splendens Tiger Lily, to keep the roots cool in summer and to protect from freezing in the winter. Splendens Tiger Lily make excellent cut flowers because they are long -lasting but be sure if cutting Splendens Tiger Lily that you leave as much foliage as possible to store some energy for next years bloom.
Take off faded flower-heads after flowering, let the stem die off naturally and then remove it. The Splendens Tiger Lily bulbs may be left in the ground and will re-flower during the next flowering season.
The pH should be about around 6.5. And fertilize Splendens Tiger Lily lightly on a monthly basis with 15-15-15 starting when the shoots begin to emerge. Aphids can be pests. If Splendens Tiger Lilyare planted in pots, keep the pots free from frost.
