The Plumeria is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and delightful plants grown in the world.

Plumeria is also known as the Hawaiian Lei flower. The Plumeria is native to the tropical and subtropical areas of America and has spread to all the tropical areas of the world. It flourishes in Florida, Mexico, Hawaii, Central America  as well as South East Asia.

Plumeria make beautiful potted plants for the porch, patio or garden.  However, in milder climates, plumeria can be grown outdoors in the ground, where they make a small beautiful landscape trees. When temperatures dip into the low 40's they may be stored in their containers or uprooted carefully trying to take as much root as possible and stored over winter in a heated basement or garage where temperatures are kept above freezing. As soon as temperatures rise outdoors they can be brought out and planted again. They will resume growth, leaf out and begin to grow as if nothing happened.

 Plumeria require very little care.

Our Plumeria Frangipani cuttings are cut from fully grown blooming trees. Your Plumeria cuttings will be fresh, at least 10" -14" in length. Your plumeria will be dipped in rooting hormone, unless you request otherwise.
Please do NOT put the plumeria cutting in water.
After you get your new plumeria cutting, just plant it in well draining potting soil, water it, and allow it to dry out before watering it again. Place your plumeria in a warm, sunny location.

Overwatering will cause the plumeria cutting to rot, so do not over water!
As long as the plumeria cutting feels firm to the touch, it is in good condition. Water your Plumeria again when soil is dry about 2-3" down. When in doubt, do not water.
Once your Plumeria is rooted and established, blooms should appear during the first year. This depends on sun, water, fertilizer, etc. Plumeria flowers best with at least 6 hours of direct sun.
