This is a lovely hand crafted mixed metal brooch or bar pin made by the well-known jewelry artisan Marjorie Baer. She has been in business since the early 1960s in San Francisco, California and is still making jewelry today. The brooch measures approximately 3 ¼ inches long and 1 1/8 inches tall. The main portion of the brooch appears to be made of pewter or some other silver tone metal. Added to the brooch is a brass decorative center piece. The brooch is signed on the back BAER SF © on an oval cartouche.

This brooch is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished it as many people prefer the patina that only comes with age. Depending on your own taste, I will leave any polishing up to you; you can keep it in the same condition with its original patina or polish it. There are a couple of tiny spots on the brass that I have pointed out in the photos. You don’t see them without the magnification and they may polish out. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This would be perfect with any outfit. It is a unique and eye-catching bar pin.
