Another piece in need of a loving home.  This piece measures 70 inches wide (178 cm) and 84 inches long (204 cm).  As you can see in the photos, there are a few spots where time has simply unraveled the threads.  There are no stains or overall wear and tear - just a few spots that should best be fixed by a pro!  I would never consider making the repairs myself - unskilled hands will destroy the finest of projects.

My understanding is that this was crafted by my grandmother for her "hope" chest.  I would be from roughly 1920.
