This is an original vintage 1991 X-MEN "Mutant Genesis" factory folded promo poster or promo banner, and shows a huge number of familiar figures from the X-Men storylines. This Uncanny X-Men promo poster was sent strictly to comic book retail store owners only, and was produced in VERY LOW numbers. This 1990's X-Men promo poster features artwork by artists like JIM LEE, ROB LIEFELD, ADAM KUBERT, and ALAN DAVIS. I even think 1970's X-Men artist Gil Kane's artwork is shown in the background, on the very light images of Magneto and Professor X, but I'm not 100 percent sure. There's a lot of action going on this this poster! This giant size X-Men poster was NEVER FOR SALE TO THE PUBLIC, and it measures about 37 inches by 13 1/2 inches. It has never been displayed, and it's in "good/very good" condition only (using comic book grading terms), due to some crinkles.

This rare vintage Marvel Universe promo poster shows mutants like Wolverine, Storm, Psylocke, the Beast, Cyclops, Rogue, Gambit, members of Excalibur (Captain Britain, Shadowcat, Nightcrawler, etc), Cable and X-Factor, and MANY MORE! Many of the surviving promo posters have no doubt been lost, previously displayed, damaged, or even destroyed over the years. This poster is folded, because nearly all promo posters are folded in their original distribution to comic shop dealers. This is normal, and not considered a defect by promotional poster collectors.
