These handmade copper earrings are small hoops and a long dangle with an round opal bead. Medium gauge copper wire is shaped into small hoops and hammed by hand to strengthen. More wire is shaped and hammered to form a long straight dangle with flattened end. Fine gauge wire is used to wrap a small opal bead into place at the bottom of the dangle.The ear wires are also handmade out of copper wire. These earrings have a very artistic and modern look sure to get you noticed.

Copper - I use natural 100% copper wire to create copper jewelry items. It is not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny. Slow the oxidization process by wiping your copper jewelry with a soft clean cloth before and after each use to keep it clean. You can easily clean oxidized copper jewelry and return it to bright and shiny by soaking it in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for 30-60 seconds, rinse with water, and dry. Try it with a penny.
