Vintage 30s Dark Blue Dress with Large Soutache Collar - NRA label Dress - can be dated to 1933-35. Sold AS IS - lots of small holes, I believe this is wool.
Dress has side hook closures. Decorative buttons on skirt. Cuffed sleeves. Thin material, reminds me of wool but may be something else.
No size tag - see measurements to find fit:
Measures 21.5" across underarm to underarm with material flat. Bust 42" or smaller to allow for draping. Measures 18.5" across the waist so 37" around, but a smaller waist again may look okay. Bodice is 16" from middle shoulder to waist line. 22" across hips so approx 44" hips, 49" total length, 15.5" shoulder, Sleeve is 22" long - Mannequin is 5'8" - note photo where dress is not lightly clipped for shape off body.
This dress is in wearable but flawed condition. Small tear in one sleeve -damage on back elbow visible when material is pulled, approx 1" in length. Brown discoloration on decorative stitching around one side of collar. LOTS of holes! When on a hanger or body these are not too obvious, but look inside the dress, in good light and they are numerous! I think the dress hides its holes well due to dark color and texture. Dress could be worn as costume, for reenactment, photos etc in this flawed state.
