This is a beautiful piece of jewelry created by Patrice. Patrice jewelry is based in Sarasota, Florida and uses vintage European glass with semi-precious gemstones, and brass stampings created from molds dating from the late 1800’s to 1920’s. Her work has been described as contemporary heirloom jewelry. Patrice was born in Vienna, lived in Nepal and studied painting in Paris. Each piece of jewelry is a limited edition design. The center stone looks like a green agate with an orange cabochon in the center for the body of the bee. It is unsigned, which is usual for her jewelry. It comes with the original pouch with “Patrice” and the logo on the front. This brooch measures approximately 1 ½ inches square and is ¾ of an inch deep from the top of the bead to the bottom.

This brooch is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This would be perfect for anyone who collects figural jewelry, especially if you are an insect fan. If you know someone who is a beekeeper or into apiculture, this would be a wonderful gift.
