Canned Food Manual

Prepared for the U.S. Army by the American Can Co.

Likely First Edition, 1942

Condition: Very Good

A study of the American canning industry as it was 70 years ago, and helpful information and suggestions on canning food, for use by the U.S. Army during World War II.  104 pages, including many illustrations.  A slightly loose feel to the book, but the binding is secure.  Little actual wear; some moisture rippling at the top of the pages, some foxing on the end papers, a bit of soiling on pages.  No dust jacket.
