These handmade copper earrings are medium hoops with wire wrapped matte black glass beads around half of the hoop. The hoops are one-inch diameter, formed and hammered by hand to strengthen and flatten the ends. Then matte black glass beads are carefully woven along half of the hupe curve. The ear wire is also handmade out of copper wire. This is an artistic, versatile and eye catching design suitable for any occasion including casual wear, business attire, or a night out. Copper - I use natural 100% copper wire to create copper jewelry items. It is not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny. Slow the oxidization process by wiping your copper jewelry with a soft clean cloth before and after each use to keep it clean. You can easily clean oxidized copper jewelry and return it to bright and shiny by soaking it in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for 30-60 seconds, rinse with water, and dry. Try it with a penny.
