It is reported to have been in active production until 1964. Harlequin original introductory colors in the 1930's included the Mauve Blue, Yellow, Spruce Green, and Maroon. In the 1940's, the colors added were Rose, Red, Turquoise and Light Green. In the early 1950's Chartreuse, Forest Green and Gray were added. At the end of the 1950's Medium Green was introduced. Pieces backstamped are from the 1970's and have been said to be a rare come by.
