This 6.5 inch salad fork is stamped “Wm Rogers & Son” and “IS” and “April.”  April evidently refers to the pattern 1950 April.  And “Wm Rogers & Son” existed between 1856 and 1873 though the Rogers name in various forms continued long after.  And I’m guessing the “IS” stands for International Silver which was a group of silverware manufacturers formed in 1898.

This piece is obviously old and worn, but I understand that collectors have their personal ways of cleaning and how they want the piece to look.  Therefore, I did not clean or polish it. 

This piece came from a deceased relative’s collection.
