2 Cards of Five (5) Costumakers Style 1101, Maize Buttons, Size 24 to a Card. Made in Western Germany, at some time after 1949.  Plastic, possibly Lucite.

Button Description

Plastic buttons are yellow in color, shiny, size 24 or ½ inch in diameter and have a shank.  The shape is a well rounded square with a dome in the center and a raised outer edge.  Gold paint is used to highlight the details.  There are places in the button that are translucent which makes me think they may be Lucite.  The buttons are unused and in excellent condition and still attached to their display cards.  The cards have ink marks, age spots, bent corners and creases in addition to a previous owner having cut off a corner on each one.

These fine buttons are close to the color of the photograph.

Costumakers was first used as a brand name in June, 1945.  West Germany existed from May 1949 to October 1990.

All buttons are vintage items and sold...AS IS.  Although I maintain a smoke-free and a pet-free studio, I have no control over where items have been previously.  I attempt to represent my goods as honestly as possible, but sometimes something will get by.  If you have any doubts about an item, E-MAIL ME!  I want to make sure that you will be pleased with your purchase.

Buttons comes in a zip 2 mil. plastic bag and are shipped in an envelope with a cardboard insert or in a padded mailer depending upon the buttons.  The zip bag is great for storing the buttons!
