Roughly two inches tall, cotter pin attachment style, for visor cap. Identification to the best of my ability and the closest I can figure out. I very much looks Ottoman but I don't get the crown, perhaps for one of the Sultanates. Hard to tell the age because it is brass. I will caution that this cotter pin style is commonly reproduced perhaps because they are so easy to do, you could make them in high school shop class. Doesn't look cheap or anything though. I just cannot verify the item further. A previous dealer was asking a lot more for it than I am willing to take and that is the marking on the back. The image of the back was like the front taken on a scanner and will show you best what is at the glass however there are no manufacturer markings so that image is only intended to show you how it attaches in case you might not be familiar with them, as the US doesn't use that style.

Being listed as a reproduction, I would say it is slightly more likely a repro than an original however it might be an original and either way we are willing to accept a bargain price for it
