In creating this original jewelry set I selected lots of carnelian including 5 to 7 mm hexagon shaped beads, a faceted puffed oval bead and 4 mm rondelle beads. Sterling silver findings include Bali spacer beads, 3 mm round beads, ear wires and a toggle clasp. The necklace is 19 1/2" in length and the earrings are 1 3/4" plus the ear wire. The large carnelian bead used as a center drop, focal point is 7/8" by 1/2" in diameter and the overall height of the drop is 1 1/2".

The faceted carnelian bead used as a center drop focal point has a unique pattern of nearly white. Note the use of carnelian rondelles between each bead make the hexagon beads stand out.
