This is not soap. It is a solid form of moisturizer.

Offered here is one of my 1.5 ounce lavender essential oil solid lotion bars. Lotion bars have a different feel compared to water based lotion that you may me used to. Your body heat melts just enough of the solid lotion to smooth onto and rub into your skin. It leaves a protective cover over your skin and in doing so moisturizes it while protecting it from drying out. Unlike water based lotions or body butters it only takes a little to get the job done.

My problem area arrives during the winter when I have to turn on the forced air heating. My feet seem to object to this and they get a dry ring of skin around the heels. When I get dressed in the morning I take a bar into my hand and rub the bar directly on the problem area. I then put on my socks. I put the bar into my sock drawer and then do a quick rub with the lotion that is left on my hand and rub it into my cuticles. I repeat this, often minus the socks, when I go to bed at night since I take my showers at night. My problem area has left about 7 days after starting this routine keeping in mind I wasn't diligent enough to do it every day.

I also get alligator skin on my legs. This solid butter bar is perfect for getting rid of that as well. Use it to condition your skin after shaving or when you skin is just suffering from the dry environment sunshine and cold weather brings.

I use sweet almond oil, beeswax, lavender essential oil, cocoa butter and Shea butter to make this wonderfully luxurious bar. Your skin will love this lotion bar. It is also great for a cuticle moisturizer.
